what to do?

We've been plodding along with the job hunt. We have had three 'potential short term jobs' brought to his attention.Only one of those has had any movement in the past couple of weeks. So, we keep going.

Last week, he got an email from a man he worked with. He had referred Dean for a job. The company emailed him, and it seems like it would be a decent job. We filled out the required information, but there has been no response.

This morning we work up to an email from another company - with a request for a very detailed questionnaire to be completed and sent back to them as soon as possible.Needless to say, we got it take care of very quickly. While we were finishing up that, he got a phone call asking him to come for an interview this afternoon at 4.  Well, ok. So, he went to the interview. He was there about 15 minutes. He has what they want as to things he has been doing on Bliss.

Here, is where we are torn. He needs job- of that there is no doubt.

Should both jobs we worked on today offer, how would we choose? One would be more like he would like, the other would probably pay more. One would be here for only about 8 months, before we would have to move again - hopefully, they would have a place for him and we would be able to stay with the same company. One would be a permanent position with a national company for retail stores. The other doing roads and things along those lines where he has no real interest.

The one from this afternoon sounds like they really might be interested in him. It is an all administration job- no contact with the projects, no seeing a project to completion.

Praying for the right offer and the right decision.

This post was from last Tuesday. I guess I forgot to hit publish
